Noragami is an action-adventure series that follows Yato, a minor god who’s struggling to gain recognition for his shrine and become a major deity. Along with his human partner Hiyori Iki, Yato must battle against powerful gods such as Bishamon who rules over war and fortune in Japanese Shinto mythos while trying to protect those he cares about from harm’s way at all costs. This series introduces viewers to many different Shinto deities such as Izanami-no-Mikoto (goddess of creation) or Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto (god of the night) while providing amazing fight scenes between Yato and other powerful gods throughout its runtime.

 

3. Fate/Stay Night:

Fate/Stay Night is an epic saga about seven mages competing for control over powerful artifacts known as Servants in order to win ultimate power in a tournament called Heaven's Feel which has been recurring for centuries according to ancient legend. InuYasha is set in feudal Japan where Kagome Higurashi finds herself transported back in time after being pulled down a mysterious well near her grandmother's shrine located by Mount InuYasha where she meets InuYasha himself - a half-dog demon legendary figure from Japanese folklore. InuYasha helps her on her mission which is stopping evil forces led by Naraku from obtaining sacred gems that would give him immense power capable enough even rival those possessed by Gods themselves. Throughout this journey, Kagome meets various characters based on Japanese myths including Kohaku - son of demon slayer Sango - Kaguya princess based on a Chinese folklore tale or Totosai blacksmith capable enough to create weapons even able wielders like Inuyasha can't break which gives us insight into vast amount characters Japan folklore has to offer us

 

5. Kamisama Kiss:

Kamisama Kiss is another great example showcasing the Power of Mythological Gods through Anime mediums following the story of Nanami Momozono whose father abandons her leaving enormous debt she has no means to pay off resulting in her becoming homeless. Until she meets Mikage's former Land God shrine is now abandoned leaving Nanami responsible for taking his place without any prior experience of how it works. Accompanied by Tomoe fox spirit Nanami embarks journey figuring out ways to manage responsibilities comes land god encounters other deities or mythical creatures like demons, vengeful spirits, and dragon kings along the way giving us a look into Japanese mythology
